Cobalt are delighted to be supporting a leading investment manager in their search for a Head of Investment, a senior leadership role within a high-impact publicly traded UK real estate platform.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you will lead all investment activity across the portfolio, shaping strategy, overseeing capital deployment, and executing acquisitions, disposals, and capital recycling initiatives. This is a rare opportunity to take ownership of portfolio construction and transaction delivery at board level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead investment strategy, capital allocation and portfolio construction
  • Originate and execute acquisitions and disposals across income-producing and value-add assets
  • Oversee end-to-end transaction execution: underwriting, due diligence, structuring and negotiation
  • Partner closely with Asset Management to align operational performance with investment objectives
  • Prepare Board and Investment Committee papers and represent the platform with senior stakeholders
  • Embed ESG considerations into investment decision-making

Candidate Profile:

  • Senior real estate investment professional with a strong track record in complex UK transactions
  • Advanced underwriting, modelling and structuring expertise
  • Proven ability to operate at Investment Committee and Board level
  • Commercial, strategic and leadership-focused, with clear progression potential
