Cobalt is working with a respected property consultancy seeking a Senior Surveyor to join their Residential Development Consultancy team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven valuation surveyor looking to broaden their experience within a busy, collaborative environment while gaining wider exposure to residential development consultancy.
The organisation
You will join a multidisciplinary consultancy known for providing clear, commercially focused advice across residential valuation and development. The team of eight is well-regarded in the market and offers a supportive environment where your progression will be encouraged, and your contribution recognised.
The role
* Spending around 60-70% of your time delivering high-quality residential-led valuation reports for a Central London Borough, covering acquisitions, disposals, lease extensions, and portfolio valuations.
* Producing clear, accurate valuation reports, demonstrating strong attention to detail and commercial awareness.
* Supporting wider residential development consultancy instructions, advising on appraisals, disposals, acquisitions, and site assessments.
* Collaborating with colleagues across the consultancy to ensure seamless advice to clients.
* Office-based in London three days per week, with flexibility for home working on other days.
Skills and experience required
* RICS Registered Valuer with around 2-3 years PQE, ideally with some residential development knowledge alongside core valuation experience.
* Proven report writing skills, with the ability to deliver to deadlines while maintaining a high standard.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills, demonstrating a strong work ethic and collaborative approach.
* An interest in growing your career within residential valuation while gaining wider consultancy exposure in a team that will support your development.
