A major UK property and development organisation is seeking an ambitious planning professional to support the delivery of large-scale commercial/logistics and industrial developments. This role offers exposure to the full development lifecycle from early site identification and appraisal through to planning consent and delivery. You’ll work closely with senior planning and development leaders, playing a key role in shaping planning strategies for high-quality, sustainable projects in prime locations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support senior planners and development leads throughout the planning and delivery process
- Prepare planning appraisals, strategies, Local Plan representations, applications, and condition discharges
- Review development sites, planning policy, constraints, and delivery timelines
- Coordinate consultants and manage inputs including ecology, flood risk, and landscape
- Review technical reports and provide clear, timely feedback
- Attend site visits, public consultations, and examination hearings
- Engage with local authorities, communities, and stakeholders to promote development proposals
What You’ll Bring
- RTPI-qualified planner with at least 3 years’ professional experience
- Strong understanding of the commercial development and planning process
