My client, a leading Real Estate Property consultancy, is seeking an ambitious Associate Partner to join their expanding national Business Rates team in London. This is an outstanding opportunity for a proven professional to step into a senior role, contribute to high-profile projects, and play a key part in the continued growth of a market-leading consultancy.
The Role:
- Devise and implement strategic solutions to reduce clients’ business rates liabilities
- Manage relief applications and empty rates cases with accuracy and insight
- Inspect and measure properties to support robust rating valuations
- Lead the Check, Challenge, Appeal process with compelling, evidence-based submissions
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring service excellence
- Drive business development and cross-sell wider consultancy services
- Mentor and support junior colleagues, contributing to team development and success
Candidate Profile:
- Chartered Surveyor (or equivalent) with significant experience in rating valuations
- Confident presenting cases at Valuation Tribunal and beyond
- Strong knowledge of rating legislation, practice, and software (Riverlake, Analyse, RatesData, Calcurate)
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and report-writing skills
- Commercially minded with the ability to generate new business opportunities
- A collaborative and entrepreneurial leader with the ability to inspire and guide others
