About the Role: We’re seeking an organised and proactive Block Property Manager (Maternity Cover – 6 Months) to oversee the day-to-day management of a residential portfolio in West London.
In this role, you’ll be the first point of contact for residents, contractors, and stakeholders, ensuring the smooth running of the buildings while delivering excellent customer service. You’ll take ownership of property operations, compliance, and maintenance coordination, playing a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, supported, and satisfied with their living environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Resident Support: Respond promptly to emails, phone calls, and messages from tenants.
- Maintenance Management: Address maintenance requests and service inquiries, review and assign work orders, and follow up on ongoing repairs or inspections.
- Complaint Resolution: Handle disputes and complaints with professionalism and diplomacy.
- Health & Safety: Ensure buildings remain compliant with all health and safety requirements.
- Site Inspections: Carry out regular inspections to maintain property standards and compliance.
- Contractor Liaison: Coordinate and oversee external contractors, ensuring quality service delivery.
- Operational Oversight: Ensure buildings are well-managed and issues are resolved in a timely manner.
About You
- Previous experience in residential property management or a similar role is essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks.
- Confident in handling tenant queries, disputes, and complaints effectively.
- Knowledge of health & safety regulations and compliance requirements in residential settings.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive, solution-focused, and able to work independently.
- Property management qualifications (IRPM, ARLA, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential.
