Associate / Assistant Vice President - Investment Management team
Real Estate Investment Strategy
Reporting to Chief Investment Officer, I am supporting a world-leading Real Estate Private Equity business in this position within their Investment Management team. This is a Global team, playing a pivotal role in supporting the Chief Investment Officer and the Investment Committee/senior team in defining and developing the investment strategy across the business, particularly in how investments develop the goals of the wider European portfolio.
This is a quantitative role, involving sharp financial analysis combined with a strategic mindset and exemplary communication skills, which you will utilise to both advocate for or disclose reservations about transactions across the Group at the Investment Committee level. You will conduct independent reviews of each investment’s risk-return characteristics, oversee global portfolio construction and monitoring, drive impactful investment strategy, and provide portfolio insights and recommendations.
Strategy: Development of Investment Strategy recommendations and Risk-Management Policies.
Evaluating Portfolio: Through analysis and forecast of economic, property and financial market trends.
Insights: Undertaking investment-related research.
We expect a suitable applicant will have acquired established experience working in a related role, preferably on the buyside or in Investment Banking. Strong investment judgement skills with an interest in Real Estate investment and research are essential.
