We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee a fire door installation/remedial works scheme in Peterborough. The project will be delivered within a live environment, so the successful candidate must be confident managing works around building occupants, maintaining high standards of health & safety, coordinating trades and ensuring disruption is kept to a minimum.
Key Responsibilities:
- Day-to-day management of the fire door works
- Managing and coordinating subcontractors and site operatives
- Ensuring works are completed safely, to programme and to the required quality standards
- Managing works effectively within a live/occupied environment
- Site inductions, toolbox talks and general H&S compliance
- Liaising with the client, residents/occupants and project team
- Monitoring progress and reporting on site activities
- Ensuring good housekeeping and professional site standards throughout
Essential Requirements:
- Valid SMSTS
- Valid CSCS Card
- Valid First Aid
- Available for Day and Night shifts
- Previous experience working as a Site Manager
- Experience managing projects in live/occupied environments
- Strong health & safety knowledge
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
