Our client is a well-established and forward-thinking commercial real estate consultancy with a strong presence across the UK. Renowned for delivering expert advice to investors, developers, and occupiers across the real estate sector, they are particularly recognised for their market-leading valuation services.
This is a new hire, coming into lead teams across multiple territories, driving the strategy and client relationships across the South East. As a Director, you will be a key part of the senior management.
Our client has great established relationships with a huge number of banks and local clients, however will also welcome further expansion of the department through the successful candidates personal network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders in the local property market.
- Support senior leadership through mentoring colleagues and ensuring consistent, high-quality reporting standards.
- Deliver comprehensive property valuations for purposes including loan security, financial reporting, and asset management.
- Act as a direct point of contact for clients, ensuring professional and accurate delivery of valuation advice.
- Work both independently and collaboratively within a national network of experts.
- Continuously seek improvements in team practices and client service delivery.
- Develop new business opportunities by leveraging both new and existing contacts.
Key Requirements:
- Solid understanding of commercial property valuation, ideally with experience in loan security and balance sheet reporting.
- Proven experience conducting property valuations and appraisals, with familiarity in using valuation software such as Argus (or equivalent).
- Strong written communication skills, with the ability to produce clear, precise, and well-structured valuation reports.
- Competence in Microsoft Office applications; experience with systems such as KEL and Argus Developer is beneficial but not essential.
- A proactive, client-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
