An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing boutique real estate consultancy as a Surveyor or Senior Surveyor within its Occupier Advisory team.
The consultancy provides independent, commercially focused property advice to occupiers across the UK, combining strategic thinking with practical delivery.
This role would suit an ambitious Surveyor looking to progress their career or an experienced Senior Surveyor seeking greater autonomy and the opportunity to contribute to the growth of an expanding advisory team.
The opportunity
You'll work on a diverse range of occupier instructions across the UK, advising businesses on their property requirements and helping them make informed commercial decisions.
Key responsibilities include:
- Advising occupiers on acquisitions, disposals, lease renewals, rent reviews, regears and surrenders.
- Undertaking property searches, inspections, market analysis and financial appraisals.
- Supporting and leading negotiations with landlords and their advisers.
- Managing instructions from initial client requirements through to completion.
- Building trusted client relationships and delivering clear, practical and commercially focused recommendations.
- Collaborating with colleagues across the wider consultancy and contributing to the growth of the Occupier Advisory offering.
About you
We're open to candidates at either Surveyor or Senior Surveyor level, with the appointment reflecting individual experience and capabilities.
The ideal candidate would come from an Office Agency/Industrial Agency or Tenant Representation existing role.
Ideally, you'll have:
- Approximately two years' relevant experience or more, depending on the level of appointment.
- A background in occupier advisory, commercial agency or a closely related property discipline, with relevant occupier-facing experience.
- A good understanding of the UK commercial office market and commercial lease structures.
- Strong commercial awareness, analytical skills and negotiation capabilities.
- Confidence working directly with clients and managing multiple instructions.
- A proactive, entrepreneurial and solutions-focused mindset.
Candidates working towards MRICS, already chartered or able to demonstrate equivalent relevant professional experience are encouraged to apply.
