Purpose of the Role

A competitive package is available, including clear progression opportunities and an uncapped bonus. The role is primarily based in Northampton, with occasional travel to the Manchester office and development sites. Working closely with senior stakeholders, the successful candidate will be involved across the full development lifecycle, from early site identification and planning appraisal through to planning promotion, condition discharge and delivery.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing site appraisals, planning strategies and delivery programmes
  • Managing consultant teams and leading planning applications, Local Plan representations and condition discharge
  • Identifying and assessing development opportunities, including Local Plan allocations, employment land supply and site constraints
  • Reviewing technical reports and providing clear, timely feedback
  • Undertaking site visits, attending Local Plan Examinations and managing public consultation events

The Ideal Candidate
