Cobalt is partnering with a leading property management organisation to appoint an Estates Manager for a multi-occupied business park environment. This opportunity offers the chance to join a collaborative onsite team within a fast-paced estate setting, supporting the day-to-day management of the park and delivering a high standard of occupier experience. This role would suit a proactive property professional with strong organisational skills, a customer-focused approach and experience across operational estate management.

The role / responsibilities:

  • Supporting the day-to-day operational management of the business park.
  • Managing contractor and supplier performance across the estate.
  • Supporting compliance, health and safety and statutory requirements.
  • Monitoring planned preventative maintenance and property works programmes.
  • Assisting with service charge budgeting, expenditure monitoring and reporting.
  • Supporting occupier engagement initiatives, meetings and customer experience activities.
  • Managing permit to work processes and contractor controls across site.
  • Supporting sustainability initiatives and environmental management plans.
  • Preparing operational reports and supporting wider building management administration.
  • Working closely with onsite teams, occupiers and external stakeholders to maintain high operational standards.

Skills needed / requirements:

  • Working knowledge of property or estate management within commercial environments.
  • Experience managing contractors and service partners.
  • Understanding of service charge budgeting and operational expenditure management.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Organised approach with strong attention to detail.
  • Understanding of health and safety and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to manage workload within a fast-paced operational environment.
  • IOSH qualification is essential.
  • IWFM membership would be advantageous.
