An established renewable energy developer is looking for an experienced Solar PV Project / Construction Manager to lead the successful delivery of commercial rooftop solar installations. You’ll take full ownership of projects from early-stage coordination and planning through to procurement, on-site delivery and final commissioning ensuring high standards of safety, quality, programme and cost control throughout. This role is ideal for someone confident managing complex stakeholders and driving multiple workstreams across design, grid interface, subcontractors and installation teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage full project lifecycle for commercial rooftop PV installs.
- Control programme, budget, risks, reporting and documentation.
- Coordinate clients, subcontractors, suppliers and DNO/grid approvals.
- Lead site works, quality checks and HSE compliance (RAMS/CDM).
- Oversee testing, commissioning and final handover packs (O&M/as-builts).
Requirements
- 5–10+ years in solar PV project delivery or construction management.
- Strong PV technical knowledge (AC/DC, inverters, mounting systems).
- Confident managing teams, contractors, timelines and costs.
- Solid understanding of site safety and compliance standards.
Nice to have:
- SMSTS/SSSTS/NEBOSH, AutoCAD/PVsyst/MS Project, battery/EV charging exposure.
Office and site-based. Pension. Paid travel expenses. Must be happy to travel nationally for site visits.
