An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Planning & Development professional to join a major London-based developer delivering a large-scale mixed-use regeneration programme in Central London. Working within an established Planning & Development team, this role will support the ongoing planning, development and delivery of a significant multi-phase urban regeneration project comprising residential, commercial, hospitality and public realm elements.

The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership, consultants, local authorities and wider project stakeholders to help drive planning and development objectives through delivery. This position would suit someone with a combination of both planning and development management experience gained on complex, high-profile schemes in London.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the development and implementation of planning and development strategies across a major mixed-use portfolio.
  • Managing planning and development workstreams through delivery and construction phases.
  • Coordinating and managing external consultant teams, reviewing outputs and monitoring progress against programme requirements.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with local authorities, statutory consultees and wider stakeholders.
  • Monitoring planning obligations, approvals and associated compliance requirements.
  • Managing project information, reporting and internal governance processes.
  • Preparing reports and recommendations for senior management and project boards.

Requirements:

  • Strong planning and development management experience on major residential-led or mixed-use schemes.
  • Exposure to high-density urban regeneration projects and complex stakeholder environments.
  • Experience working with London Borough planning authorities, particularly within Inner London.
  • Commercially aware with strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced development environment.

The successful candidate will join a growing Planning & Development function and work alongside senior development professionals responsible for the delivery of one of London's most significant regeneration locations. The role offers exposure to complex planning, development and delivery challenges, with the opportunity to take ownership of key workstreams and contribute to the successful execution of a long-term development programme. The role is office-based five days per week from the company's London headquarters.
