An established real estate investment and asset management platform is looking to hire a commercially minded Portfolio Accountant to support a high-value UK and European property portfolio. The position sits closely alongside asset management and investment teams, offering exposure to portfolio performance, capital activity and transaction processes, while retaining strong ownership of financial oversight.
The Opportunity
You will act as the finance lead across a designated property portfolio, working with third-party administrators and internal stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting, robust controls and clear financial visibility across SPVs and fund structures. The role would suit someone currently operating within fund or portfolio accounting who wants greater exposure to asset-level performance and investment activity.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Overseeing portfolio and SPV reporting delivered by third-party administrators
- Reviewing and challenging NAV calculations and supporting schedules
- Ensuring IFRS / UK GAAP compliance across asset-level and consolidated reporting
- Reviewing key performance metrics including NOI, capex, debt covenants and intercompany balances
- Supporting budgeting, forecasting and cash flow analysis across the portfolio
- Coordinating statutory accounts and managing audit processes
- Monitoring distributions, cash repatriation and lender reporting
- Supporting acquisitions, disposals and onboarding of new assets
- Liaising with external tax advisors and reviewing VAT / CIS reporting where applicable
- Driving continuous improvements across reporting and control processes

- Proven fund or portfolio accounting experience (essential)
- Strong exposure to NAV reporting and oversight of third-party administrators
