A leading property group is looking to appoint an analyst within its occupier-focused audit function. The team supports corporate clients with lease audit, service charge review, cost recovery and landlord negotiation across UK and international portfolios.

The successful candidate will join the Lease Audit team and be responsible for conducting lease audits for corporate clients, identifying potential savings, negotiating with landlords and supporting the recovery of overcharges or cost avoidance opportunities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Audit and reconcile financial lease-related charges including service charge, insurance recharges, base rent, turnover rent, works deposits and capital allowances.
  • Review lease documentation and troubleshoot/dispute issues through interpretation of lease language.
  • Prepare individual lease audit reports in line with client scope and requirements.
  • Communicate and negotiate with landlords to enforce compliance with lease obligations.
  • Work with client legal teams to interpret lease clauses and ensure landlord/tenant compliance.
  • Coordinate and lead recurring lease audit status meetings with clients.
