Overview
Senior Investment Director role focused on originating and executing opportunities to grow a UK real estate portfolio. You will work closely with the CEO in a lean, entrepreneurial setting, with substantial autonomy and direct exposure to investment decisions. You manage the full lifecycle from origination to completion, sourcing both marketed and off-market deals. The mandate covers offices, retail, industrial, logistics and related value-add projects, with a strong emphasis on deal-making and commercial judgment. Responsibilities
- Originate and assess new investment opportunities across a broad asset class mix
- Underwrite, negotiate, conduct due diligence and close transactions
- Build and maintain relationships with agents, owners, developers, advisers and market participants
- Access both marketed and off-market opportunities and manage full investment lifecycle
- Present clear investment recommendations and manage risk/return trade-offs
- Work directly with senior decision-makers and contribute to investment decisions
- Drive deal-flow generation rather than just managing an existing pipeline
- Support portfolio growth through value-add and repositioning opportunities
Key requirements
- Proven track record of originating and completing real estate transactions
- Strong UK real estate investment network, especially with agents and deal sources
- Excellent commercial judgment and ability to quickly identify opportunities
- Strong financial modelling, underwriting and analytical skills
- Experience in development, redevelopment, repositioning or value-add investments
- Experience in offices and/or retail CRE
- Strong negotiation and relationship-management skills
