Our client is a respected multi-disciplinary property consultancy with an established reputation for delivering specialist advice across the property sector.

Their Residential Development Consultancy team is continuing to grow, creating an opportunity for a Development Surveyor or Senior to join their London office.

This is an excellent opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals on a varied portfolio of residential development projects across the UK, including major urban regeneration schemes, new settlement developments and large-scale brownfield and greenfield sites.

The Role

You will provide valuation and development consultancy advice to a broad client base including registered providers, local authorities, private developers and institutional investors.

Key responsibilities include

  • Preparing Red Book valuations for residential development projects.
  • Producing valuations relating to Section 106 package deals and new-build residential stock.
  • Preparing Financial Viability Assessments to support planning applications.
  • Producing detailed residual valuation models using Argus Developer and SDS Pro Val.
  • Providing residential development and valuation advice across a range of projects.
  • Building and maintaining client relationships.
  • Supporting business development activity and contributing to the continued growth of the team.

About You

We are keen to speak with Surveyors who can demonstrate

  • MRICS qualification.
  • RICS Registered Valuer status.
  • Working knowledge of residential development valuation.
  • Good working knowledge of Argus Developer.
  • Strong report writing, analytical and communication skills.
  • Excellent IT skills.
  • A full UK driving licence.

Experience of affordable housing valuations would be advantageous but is not essential.
