Cobalt is working with an established real estate consultancy that is expanding its Development Consultancy and Valuation Advisory offering.

We are looking for a senior Development Consultancy professional who can advise clients independently and play an important role in the continued growth of the team.

This opportunity would suit someone who understands the public sector market and is comfortable combining client advisory work with business development.

The Organisation Our client is a modern real estate consultancy advising developers, lenders, local authorities and other stakeholders on planning, regeneration and sustainable development.

The business combines specialist expertise with a collaborative structure, giving senior hires the opportunity to influence client strategy, contribute to the direction of the team and play a visible role in its expansion.

The appointment forms part of a wider investment in Development Consultancy and Valuation Advisory, creating an opportunity for the successful candidate to strengthen the team's senior capability and contribute to its future direction.

The Role and Responsibilities The successful candidate will take responsibility for advising clients and leading Development Consultancy instructions with limited oversight.

The position will include:* Leading Development Consultancy projects and providing considered advice to clients.* Supporting public sector clients across individual projects and wider property portfolios.* Advising lenders and developers on development-related matters.* Building relationships with existing and prospective clients.* Identifying opportunities and converting appropriate opportunities into revenue.* Contributing to the growth and market positioning of the Development Consultancy and Valuation Advisory team.

This is not intended to be a predominantly background delivery position.

The senior hire will have direct client exposure, take ownership of projects, provide advice and contribute to winning new work.

The Skills and Requirements* Strong working knowledge of Development Consultancy.* Strong working knowledge of the public sector property market.* The ability to lead projects and advise clients with limited oversight.* Experience working with lenders, developers and public sector organisations.* An established network of relevant lender and developer relationships.* The credibility to develop senior client relationships and represent the consultancy in the market.* The ability to identify opportunities and contribute to revenue growth.
