Company/Team Overview: Global Investment Bank offering a wide range of services including mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital raising (debt and equity), and advisory services. Due to growth and activity, we are currently looking to hire at the Senior VP level to join our high-performing Real Estate (RE) team based in the UK. This team plays a pivotal role in executing a variety of high-quality mandates, many of which have been secured recently across key sectors including Residential, Healthcare, Hospitality, Digital Infrastructure, and Operational Real Estate Asset Classes.
Role Overview: As a member of the UK Real Estate team you will have the opportunity to engage in complex M&A deals and capital raising activities. The role offers direct exposure to high-level transactions, and the opportunity to collaborate with senior professionals within the team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transaction Execution: Play a key role in executing a range of mandates, from M&A to capital raising (debt and equity), across our core real estate sectors: Residential, Healthcare, Hospitality, Digital Infrastructure, and Operational Real Estate Asset Classes.
- Deal Structuring & Documentation: Assist in the structuring and documentation of complex transactions, including equity raises, debt financing, and joint ventures.
- Client Interaction: Work closely with clients, investors, and advisors to ensure effective communication and smooth transaction processes.
- Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market analysis, due diligence, and valuation work for various real estate sectors.
- Team Collaboration: Work in a team-oriented environment, collaborating with Analysts, VPs, MDs, and other real estate and sector specialists across the Bank’s international network.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Experience: VP in investment banking, private equity, or a similar real estate advisory role, with a proven track record in M&A, capital raising or real estate transactions.
- Sector Knowledge: Strong understanding of the real estate sector.
- Deal Experience: Experience in executing M&A, ideally within the real estate or related industries.
- Technical Skills: Advanced financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and other financial analysis tools.
- Client Management: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work with senior clients, investors, and stakeholders.
