Cobalt are excited to be partnering with a prestigious asset management firm to secure a Head of Fund Finance Operations. This role is responsible for implementing and delivering strategic growth projects, helping to provide business support through launching new funds to exit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of the Real Estate operational platform to accommodate business needs, working closely with the Real Estate Front Office, Operations, Tax and Legal teams.
- Supporting complex transactions and exit strategies including corporate acquisitions and disposals.
- Supporting product development where appropriate including input into fund structuring of funds in the UK, Jersey and Luxembourg.
- Leading fund launches, including input into the production of constitutional documentation for the funds and production of key investor documents.
- Working alongside the Front Office in support of debt strategy and origination and subsequently, loan facility and hedging implementation.
- Liaising with service providers including onboarding of third parties such as fund administrators, valuers etc. and managing the book of change with each supplier.
- Responsible for direct line management of the Senior Project Manager to ensure key milestones are met and progress, risks and issues are adequately captured, documented and communicated.
Requirements:
- Significant experience working with UK Real Estate funds in the UK, Jersey and Luxembourg.
- Ability to develop deep understanding of Real Estate fund strategies and the operational implications.
- A deep understanding of the end-to-end operation and processes of a Real Estate Asset Manager.
- Client Focus driven with proven experience.
- Clear and concise communicator with experience of working with colleagues at all levels and external service providers.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Issue identification and resolution.
