We are looking for an experienced Freelance Site Manager to oversee an exciting leisure fit-out project in Hartlepool. The successful candidate will have a strong background in managing fast-paced interior fit-out projects, with a joinery trade background preferred. You will be responsible for coordinating subcontractors, maintaining programme, ensuring high-quality finishes, and upholding the highest standards of health and safety throughout the project.
Key Responsibilities
- Day-to-day management of site operations
- Coordination and supervision of subcontractors
- Ensuring works are completed safely, on time, and to specification
- Maintaining site records and reporting progress
- Managing quality control and snagging
- Liaising with the client, project team, and suppliers
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Site Manager on commercial fit-out projects
- Joinery trade background preferred
- Valid SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certificates
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Ability to drive programme and manage multiple trades
