An established environmental consultancy is seeking an experienced Arboricultural Consultant Surveyor to join its growing specialist team. Working remotely, you'll deliver a wide range of arboricultural services for clients across infrastructure, highways, housing, public sector, and private developments throughout England and Wales.
This is a field-facing role requiring regular site travel, including occasional overnight stays, offering variety, autonomy, and excellent career development opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Carry out tree inspections, hazard assessments, and mitigation recommendations
- Prepare tree condition reports, arboricultural impact assessments, and method statements
- Deliver BS5837 surveys and associated consultancy services
- Identify tree pests and diseases and propose appropriate management solutions
- Work independently while collaborating with a small, professional consultancy team
- Maintain high technical and safety standards across all projects
- Minimum Level 3/4 qualification in Arboriculture (or equivalent)
- At least 2 years' experience delivering arboricultural services in a commercial environment
- Strong knowledge of arboricultural inspections and reporting
- Professional Tree Inspector qualification desirable
- Excellent organisational, IT, and report writing skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to manage workload independently
- Full, clean UK driving licence
- Willingness to travel and stay away from home when required
