Cobalt Recruitment is proud to be working with a leading property brand to appoint an experienced General Manager for a high-profile commercial asset in the heart of Canary Wharf. This landmark building spans over 300,000 sq. ft. and is home to a diverse mix of occupiers across multiple tenancies.
As General Manager, you will lead a dedicated on-site team, taking ownership of the day-to-day management and strategic direction of the asset, ensuring a best-in-class experience for all stakeholders. You'll be the key interface between landlord, occupiers, and service partners - driving operational excellence, fostering strong relationships, and delivering first-class property management services.
Key Responsibilities:- Overall responsibility for the daily operations of the building, including both hard and soft services
- Line management of the on-site team, including direct reports and service providers
- Oversight and delivery of service charge budgets, forecasting, and cost control
- Building strong relationships with occupiers and providing exceptional customer service
- Ensuring full statutory compliance and adherence to health & safety protocols
- Supporting ESG goals and sustainability initiatives in line with corporate objectives
- Managing building projects, refurbishments, and lifecycle works in collaboration with FM/technical teams
- Extensive experience managing large, multi-tenanted commercial buildings
- Proven background working for a property owner, investor, or managing agent

- IOSH/NEBOSH qualified or working toward desirable
