A leading UK commercial property and asset management business is seeking a Financial Accountant to join its Corporate Accounts team. Working closely with senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for the preparation and analysis of monthly financial statements, balance sheet reconciliations, and supporting statutory reporting and audit. Key responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Perform balance sheet reconciliations with clear commentary
- Support statutory accounts, audits, and regulatory filings
- Ensure compliance with UK GAAP / IFRS and internal controls
- Analyse large datasets to deliver meaningful financial insight
Requirements
- 2-3 years' experience in financial or management accounting
- Strong financial accounting knowledge and reporting experience
- Advanced Excel skills and experience handling large datasets
- Part-qualified or studying ACCA / CIMA (or equivalent)
- Real estate/property experience beneficial (service charge exposure a plus)
