Cobalt is looking for a Facilities Manager on behalf of one of the UK\’s leading property management companies. Our client has a strong track record of developing and empowering their Facilities Management staff.

This role will see you take ownership of a retail–focussed portfolio which acts as part of a wider portfolio that our client manages working in close partnership with the existing team.

The role would suit someone from a multi–site background looking to transition their FM career into the Real Estate world, or an Assistant looking for their first taste of independent portfolio management.

As well as this, the role offers full autonomy and flexibility of your own diary.

Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Regularly inspecting your portfolio, taking charge of your own diary to organise site visits.
  • Setting and managing service charge budgets with support of the Regional FM.
  • Liaising directly with key stakeholders, chief amongst them the landlord and tenant representatives.
  • Ensuring the effective planned preventative maintenance programme for building plant and fabric.
  • In conjunction with the wider team, overseeing proactive investment into the assets, including refurbishment works.
  • Ensuring full compliance with UK Health and Safety legislation.

Ideally you will bring prior experience of managing/assisting with the management of a portfolio of multiple properties or have a track record in managing entire building(s).

An IOSH qualification is essential for this role. Equally importantly will be your proactive, driven nature, and ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders.
