The role/responsibilities

  • Reporting to the Owners and setting the strategic direction for all construction activity.
  • Leading the delivery of multiple projects from pre-construction through to handover.
  • Overseeing budgets, programmes and risk management to ensure projects are delivered on time, within cost and to high quality standards.
  • Building and inspiring a strong internal construction function and managing external partners.
  • Driving health and safety, compliance, and embedding ESG principles across all sites.

Skills needed/requirements

  • Working knowledge of delivering large-scale residential or mixed-use schemes at senior level.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop high-performing teams.
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing procurement and multi-million-pound budgets.
  • Understanding of UK building regulations and familiarity with NEC or JCT contracts.
  • UK degree qualification in a relevant field such as Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • SMSTS, CSCS Black Card and First Aid desirable.
  • Full driving licence and flexibility to travel across London and the South East.
