The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
We are proud to be exclusively partnered with one of the UK’s busiest housebuilders and resi-led developers, who are expanding their team in the Bucks/Beds/Herts region, to accommodate a growing pipeline of work. Alongside a lean local team and part of a wider regional office, you will have the opportunity to learn from some of the industry’s best. You will be leading on upcoming smaller and medium-sized projects and assisting a senior colleague with a major scheme in the region – which includes 1000+ homes, commercial and community space.
Whether you are client-side already or keen to take your first step client side, you will really benefit from working within a highly experienced team. They are open to background of the incoming hire from planning, development or land background – providing you have a strong grasp of either planning or numbers and the aptitude/interest to learn!
You will be involved in (among other responsibilities):
- Appraising potential development sites alongside land buying colleagues for viability and potential asset values.
- Managing pre-apps and planning applications through the development process, supporting by external planning consultants.
- Undertaking due diligence, valuations and development appraisals.
- Liaising with colleagues internally as well as managing external consultants.
You will ideally:
- Have experience within planning and optimisation of schemes – whether that is in a consultancy, developer, HA or public body.
- Excellent communication, written and numerate skills.
- Be dedicated, a hard worker and team player.
- Have a driving license.
