Service Charge / Property Manager (Commercial Property)
Location: London / Hybrid

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a commercially minded Property Surveyor or Service Charge professional to join a well-established property business.
This role would suit candidates from Commercial Property Management, Service Charge Management, Property Surveying, Lease Advisory or Service Charge Accounting backgrounds who have a strong understanding of commercial property operations, lease obligations and service charge processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyse service charge budgets, reconciliations and supporting expenditure.
- Assess lease provisions relating to service charge recoverability and landlord obligations.
- Investigate and resolve service charge queries and discrepancies.
- Liaise with managing agents, landlords, surveyors and other stakeholders regarding service charge matters.
- Review financial and property documentation to ensure compliance with lease terms and industry standards.
- Prepare reports and recommendations based on findings and analysis.
- Support a range of commercial property portfolios across office, retail and mixed-use assets.
Candidate Requirements
- Previous experience within Commercial Property Management, Property Surveying, Service Charge Management or Service Charge Accounting.
- Strong understanding of commercial leases and service charge administration.
- Experience reviewing service charge budgets and year-end reconciliations.
- Knowledge of landlord and tenant matters.
- Familiarity with RICS Service Charge Professional Standards.
- Excellent analytical, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong Excel skills and attention to detail.
- MRICS qualification advantageous but not essential.
