About the Role

Client Accountant - Hybrid (3 days WFH / week)

Birmingham

£35,000 to £40,000

Responsibilities

  • Managing a portfolio of client accounts and overseeing day-to-day financial transactions
  • Performing reconciliations and ensuring accurate management of client funds
  • Processing payment runs in line with contractual requirements and deadlines
  • Allocating cash receipts and resolving account queries
  • Preparing monthly client accounts and financial reports
  • Building strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
  • Supporting ad hoc projects and wider team initiatives

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a Client Accountant, Property Accountant or similar finance role in real estate
  • Experience managing client portfolios and stakeholder relationships
  • Strong understanding of reconciliations, reporting and financial controls
  • Part-qualified (AAT, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by experience
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office
  • CIS experience would be advantageous

Working hours: 9am to 5.30pm

Location: Birmingham office 2 days / week, 3 days WFH / week
