Overview
In thisSenior Acquisitions Manager role, you drive growth for a major UK retailer by leading regional acquisitions and shaping the expansion programme. You’ll steer a high-volume pipeline, secure site locations across the UK, and influence cross-functional teams from development to operations. The role combines hands-on dealmaking with team leadership in a fast-paced asset-light growth agenda. You will work closely with senior leadership to monitor risk, performance, and market activity, delivering tangible expansion impact.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop members of the acquisitions team
- Manage a significant pipeline of new site opportunities
- Identify and secure locations across the UK
- Negotiate transactions from Heads of Terms through to exchange and completion
- Manage pipeline risk and report progress to senior leadership
- Build relationships with landlords, developers and agents
- Work closely with construction, development, estates and operations
- Personally progress acquisitions while overseeing the wider programme
Key requirements
- Experienced acquisitions professional with strong negotiation skills
- Commercial judgement and ability to manage multiple transactions at pace
- Retail experience beneficial but not essential
- Candidates from leisure or other multi-site occupier environments will be considered
