Cobalt are delighted to be partnering with an award-winning, family-owned partner and developer in the new build residential sector.
They are seeking to appoint a Bid Writer or Senior Bid Writer who will support the regional teams as an integral member of the Proposals team, which operates within the Pre-Construction department.
This role is essential in managing and delivering high-quality bids across a varied portfolio of projects, including new builds, decarbonisation, retrofit, fire remediation and development.
Responsibilities: Work closely with colleagues across the business, including regional teams, to gather technical, operational and commercial information for high-quality proposal submissions.
Produce clear, concise and persuasive proposals that communicate operational, technical and commercial solutions tailored to client requirements.
Develop and maintain standard response templates and content libraries to improve consistency and efficiency.
Participate in bid reviews and refine content provided by subject matter experts to ensure accuracy, clarity and compliance.
Create engaging presentation materials to support client interviews and tender presentations.
Requirements: Hold an APM Foundation qualification or relevant qualification Proven experience in bid writing in new build residential and construction sectors Knowledge of the construction industry, social and affordable housing market sector Attention to detail with exceptional written and verbal communication Proficient using Microsoft Office and Adobe In Design Adaptable, resilient and able to meet tight deadlines Due to the volume of applications received, if you don't hear back from us within 2 weeks, please assume your application has been unsuccessful on this occasion.
