Cobalt Recruitment is partnering with a respected and long-established property owner to appoint a Building Manager.
The business is known for its hands-on approach to asset management, long-term ownership strategy and commitment to maintaining high-quality, occupier-focused buildings. The role will take full responsibility for two multi-let office assets, offering meaningful autonomy across facilities management, statutory compliance and service delivery.

Key responsibilities will include
- Manage all hard and soft FM services across the sites, ensuring compliance with statutory and company standards.
- Deliver and monitor the PPM programme in conjunction with on-site engineering support.
- Procure and manage contractors, overseeing performance, SLAs and health and safety compliance.
- Coordinate minor works projects from instruction to completion, controlling cost, quality and delivery.
- Undertake regular building, health and safety and statutory inspections, closing out actions efficiently.
- Maintain accurate compliance, property and insurance records on internal systems.
- Liaise with occupiers and stakeholders, acting as the primary day-to-day point of contact.
- Support the preparation and management of annual service charge budgets and ongoing cost control.
- Promote sustainability initiatives and effective utilities management across the properties.
Candidates will have experience in Building Management or Facilities Management within a multi-occupier commercial environment, with a solid understanding of both hard and soft services. An IOSH or NEBOSH qualification is essential, alongside experience managing contractors, compliance and service charge budgets. This opportunity will suit an established Building Manager or a capable Assistant Building Manager ready to step into a broader, more autonomous role.
