An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate to Associate Director level Development Management Planner to join a growing planning team in Bristol at Associate or Associate Director level.

This is a senior opportunity for a commercially minded planner who enjoys leading complex development projects, providing strategic planning advice and managing key client relationships.

You'll lead a varied portfolio of residential, commercial and mixed-use projects, managing schemes from early feasibility and pre-application through to submission and determination.

Key responsibilities

  • Leading complex planning applications and development management projects.
  • Providing strategic planning advice to clients.
  • Managing projects from feasibility through to determination.
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary teams.
  • Managing client and local authority relationships.
  • Mentoring and developing junior planners.
  • Supporting business development and work winning.
  • Contributing to the continued growth of the planning team.

You'll ideally be an MRTPI Chartered Town Planner with strong Development Management experience, excellent client-facing skills and a track record of delivering complex planning projects.
