Cobalt is partnering with a client-side residential organisation to appoint a Maintenance Operative for a high-end residential development in Leeds. This is an opportunity to join a premium building environment with state-of-the-art resident amenities including communal lounges, wellness facilities and landscaped spaces. The team encourages people to step outside of a traditional job description where needed to support residents and the wider operation of the building.
- Carrying out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance across the development.
- Supporting the day-to-day operation and upkeep of communal areas and resident facilities.
- Assisting with basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and general maintenance tasks.
- Supporting compliance, health and safety and planned preventative maintenance activities.
- Completing regular building inspections and reporting maintenance issues.
- Supporting apartment inspections, defect management and resident move-ins.
- Working alongside contractors and monitoring standards across the site.
- Assisting with the presentation and upkeep of the building, including communal spaces and external areas.
- Delivering a high standard of customer service to residents, visitors and contractors.
- Working knowledge of general building maintenance within residential, hospitality or commercial environments.
- Experience carrying out basic plumbing, electrical or carpentry works.
- Experience within private residential or build-to-rent environments would be beneficial.
