The role and responsibilities As Service Charge Accountant, you will take responsibility for key service charge accounting activity across the residential portfolio.
Drawing on the responsibilities within the original brief, your work will include: Managing service charge accounts and maintaining accurate financial records.
Preparing service charge, ground rent, insurance and rent demands.
Preparing service charge year-end and quarter-end accounts and expenditure reports.
Completing service charge reconciliations and supporting the audit process.
Reviewing relevant lease terms to establish recoverable and non-recoverable costs.
Maintaining accurate property and financial information within Qube.
Reviewing unallocated transactions and supporting the daily banking process.
