The consultancy’s mission is to address the pressing challenges faced by communities through innovative, evidence‑led solutions. They are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant up to Associate Consultant to contribute to the successful delivery of place and economy projects. This role presents the opportunity to work across a variety of meaningful assignments involving socio‑economic research, strategy development, stakeholder engagement, and project management.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and managing socio‑economic research and analysis programmes
  • Translating evidence into clear, actionable recommendations for clients
  • Collaborating with multi‑disciplinary teams to develop strategic reports
  • Leading project delivery, including coordination with external partners
  • Facilitating workshops and stakeholder engagement with senior officers, elected members, and community representatives

Qualifications

  • Minimum three years of professional experience in a relevant field
  • Strong research and analysis capabilities, with familiarity with UK data sources (e.g. ONS, CoStar, Realyse, London Datastore)
  • Proven project management and client relationship experience
  • Excellent writing, presentation, and communication skills
  • Background in economic development, regeneration, or the built environment
  • Experience in designing and facilitating stakeholder engagement activities

Desirable skills

  • Experience in spatial analysis (ideally using QGIS or equivalent tools)
  • Knowledge of the UK local government and regeneration landscape
  • Experience producing socio‑economic baselines
  • Ability to translate data and insight into policies, strategies, or vision documents
