Job Description
An established property and infrastructure organisation is looking to appoint a Senior Property Manager to take responsibility for a diverse portfolio of industrial, brownfield and operational property assets.
This is a hands‑on role suited to a commercially minded surveyor who enjoys taking ownership of a portfolio, improving processes and dealing with a broad range of property management matters.
The Role
Initially, you will focus on bringing a varied portfolio under effective day‑to‑day management, with responsibilities including:
- Managing lease and property information, including maintaining accurate data within the property management system.
- Rent collection, debtor management, rent reviews and lease events.
- Managing tenant relationships and day‑to‑day property matters.
- Overseeing compliance and identifying landlord and tenant responsibilities.
- Managing short‑term occupational agreements, including parking and storage.
- Regularly visiting sites to understand individual assets and resolve management issues.
- Appointing and managing external specialists where required.
- Identifying opportunities to improve income, processes and the overall management of the portfolio.
As the portfolio becomes established, there will be scope to support the wider commercial property team across additional assets and projects.
About You
We are looking for someone with:
- Strong commercial property management experience.
- Experience across industrial, land, infrastructure or other complex property portfolios.
- Good knowledge of leases, rent reviews, debtor management and landlord & tenant matters.
- A practical, proactive and commercially focused approach.
- The confidence to take ownership of issues and work independently.
- A willingness to get out on site and understand the assets you are managing.
A surveying qualification and/or MRICSwould be advantageous, although relevant experience and the right commercial approach are equally important.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for a varied role where they can take genuine ownership of a portfolio and make a visible impact.
