The role
Our client is seeking a Senior Block Property Manager to oversee a portfolio of residential and mixed-use developments, delivering an excellent service to leaseholders, residents and clients while maintaining high property standards.
You'll take full ownership of your portfolio, managing a varied range of developments while building strong relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Key responsibilities
- Manage a defined portfolio, ensuring compliance with lease terms and relevant legislation.
- Build strong relationships with leaseholders, tenants and resident associations.
- Conduct regular property inspections and coordinate any required maintenance works.
- Oversee contractors and service level agreements to ensure quality and value are delivered.
- Prepare and manage service charge budgets and monitor expenditure.
- Support major works projects, including Section 20 consultation processes.
- Handle insurance claims, legal queries and leasehold matters in a proactive manner.
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure the effective day-to-day management of your portfolio.
Skills and requirements
- Previous experience managing high-rise residential developments is essential.
- Working knowledge of landlord and tenant legislation and property management best practices.
- TPI qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills.
- Confident using property management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- A collaborative approach and commitment to delivering a high level of service.
