The key aims of this role are: The Training Administrator is responsible for administering training across the Cobalt Group of companies, including Cobalt Energy Limited (CEL) and Cobalt Energy Project Services Limited (CEPSL) as well as CEOSL. The primary focus will be on ensuring that all training activities are effectively organised and tracked, supporting project and operational sites with training organisational matters.
Responsibilities
- Provide administrative training support for the Cobalt Group of companies, with an approximate split of 90% CEOSL and 10% CEL/CEPSL.
- Manage and maintain the training calendar to capture all company training.
- Book training sessions for employees in CEL, ensuring alignment with operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate training records, certificates, and assessment documents, and distribute them to relevant parties including Plant Admins.
- Oversee completion of training matrices, ensuring each business area is up-to-date and training is actively carried out in line with mandatory requirements.
- Provide updates on training matrices to line managers.
- Provide administrative support for external and internal training, collaborating with line managers and relevant departments within the Group.
- Manage the approved suppliers list for training providers in conjunction with managers.
- Track training gap analysis to aid the business in identifying training needs.
- Coordinate courses between sites and the Group, issuing calendar invites prior to training and following up to ensure attendance.
- Manage Ihasco e‐learning (or other platforms), assigning courses and following up with employees to complete courses, escalating to the line manager after two attempts.
- Work closely with Plant/Technical Administrators to coordinate site‐specific training activities.
- Provide regular updates to Plant/Technical Administrators on attendance of scheduled training.
- Communicate training requirements and changes in scheduled training to ensure smooth delivery at plant level.
- Maintain a feedback loop with Plant/Technical Administrators to address training gaps, missed sessions, or required adjustments.
- Track training participation and follow up on non‐attendance of employees to identify improvement areas.
- Provide monthly training reports to Plant/Technical Administrators and Senior Management, highlighting completed training, non‐attendance, reasons, and outstanding requirements.
- Support Plant/Technical Administrators in managing training within the Plant Managers' budget constraints.
- Assist with audit inspections and preparations alongside the QHSE department.
- Provide regular reporting on training delivered across departments, sites and the organisation, highlighting trends or areas needing attention.
- Book any mandatory training requirements that may arise for CEL and CEPSL.
