Cobalt are working with a fast-growing renewable energy company who specialises in providing cutting edge rooftop solar solutions for commercial and industrial businesses and real estate portfolios in the United Kingdom. They are well capitalised with a rich project pipeline, and they are looking for an exceptional Solar Design Project Manager to manage their solar PV pipeline.
Role Overview
This role demands a capable and experienced professional ready to hit the ground running and effectively oversee the successful delivery of commercial and industrial rooftop solar projects. You will ideally have a strong interest in energy, technology, and engineering as you will be instrumental in designing and optimizing energy systems tailored to commercial and industrial applications.
Day to day responsibilities
- Visit sites and conduct feasibility studies to ensure optimal system designs.
- Familiar with industry-standard tools and software to design and model energy systems (PV sol, Helio Scope etc).
- Ensure designs are cost-effective and maximize value for clients.
- Prepare cost breakdowns for system components, labour, and installation.
- Work closely with project managers, engineers, and partners to meet technical and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Contribute to the development and integration of new technologies to improve business operations.
- Keep up with industry trends and new technologies to help grow the business.
