Cobalt is partnering with a forward-thinking, UK owned property company who is seeking a proactive Assistant Facilities Manager to work within a reputable industrial & leisure park in Kent. Combining sustainability with sleek design, this development is undergoing further investment to ensure it retains its position as a premier workplace destination for its customers, giving you strong exposure to CAPEX works alongside high-end occupier engagement strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage on site contractors and ensure works are carried out in line with company standards and legislation.
  • Conduct building inspections whilst instructing contractors to conduct remedial works where necessary.
  • Check in with tenants on a regular basis to ensure their queries are met accordingly.
  • Work alongside the Facilities Manager to set and manage service charge budgets.
  • Oversee health and safety compliance across the site at all times.
  • Drive proactive feedback from the site between leaseholders/tenants to ensure an up-to-date record is held at all times.

As the successful applicant, you will have a track record in supporting the management of a commercial or industrial office development previously, and be able to demonstrate the ability to deputise at the Building Management level where necessary.

Qualifications

  • An IOSH qualification is mandatory, whilst an IWFM membership or qualification would be viewed favorably.
  • You will thrive in a customer-facing environment and display the ability to tailor your communication style to a variety of stakeholders.
