We are working with an established and growing organisation within the Build to Rent sector to recruit a Resident Services Associate for one of its residential communities in Sheffield.

The Role

As a Resident Services Associate, you will report to the Resident Manager and play a key role in delivering an outstanding experience for residents and visitors.

This varied, front-facing position combines customer service, community engagement and operational support to ensure the building is maintained to a high standard and residents receive a seamless service.

Responsibilities

  • Delivering a professional and welcoming front of house service for residents and visitors.
  • Managing reception duties, meet and greets, parcel handling and resident enquiries.
  • Supporting lettings viewings, property inspections and occupancy processes.
  • Assisting with the day-to-day management of amenity spaces and communal areas.
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver a consistent resident experience.
  • Encouraging resident engagement and supporting community events.
  • Maintaining high standards across both front and back of house operations.
  • Supporting tenancy administration and income management activities where required.
  • Building positive relationships with residents, contractors and external partners.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within hospitality, travel, customer service or a market-rented residential environment.
  • Outstanding customer service skills with a genuine passion for creating positive experiences.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to build effective relationships with residents, colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Experience working collaboratively within a team.
  • An awareness of health and safety responsibilities within a customer-facing environment.
  • A positive, organised and resilient approach to work.
  • Previous experience within the property sector would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Experience supporting events or resident engagement activities would be beneficial.
  • Property or customer service qualifications would be advantageous.
