Looking to lead on some of the UK's most complex and high-profile compulsory purchase and regeneration schemes? This role places you at the centre of nationally significant projects, working alongside planning, development and public sector specialists to unlock transformational change.
Our client is seeking a CPO specialist to assist with the growth of their already successful Compulsory Purchase Advisory team. The team has extensive experience advising acquiring authorities, developers and claimants involved in large regeneration, transport and infrastructure schemes requiring land assembly. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders, assisting them in making informed decisions regarding land assembly, compulsory purchase and compensation matters.
This is a varied role requiring project management skills, with a hands‐on approach to delivery to provide property service to a number of key clients, which will include compensation, acquisition, CPO and valuation advice for significant infrastructure projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Site and business valuations and relocation appraisals, as well as valuation of standing investment and development sites using Argus.
- Assisting with dispute resolution, negotiating claims, and claim preparation on behalf of owners and occupiers.
- Valuations to Market Value for red book and Land Compensation Act uses.
- Client meetings and site inspections.
- Establish new and maintain existing business relationships.
Ideally you will be:
- MRICS
- Experience in valuations (RICS registered valuer ideal)
- Attention to detail and high standards
- Good research and reporting skills
- Knowledge of CPO, regeneration or infrastructure
- Organised and able to manage a project and team
