Are you ready to accelerate your career progression towards a Director level town planning role in a new environment, free from the bureaucracy of more traditional firms? As an Associate Director, you could gain exposure to a very healthy pipeline of major projects across London and South East of England, whilst expanding your network with the backing of a supportive team and highly revered brand.
I am working closely with a well-established consultancy in London, looking for someone with the experience to hit the ground running on major development schemes whilst demonstrating the ability to foster new client relationships and generate new business.
Responsibilities- Managing projects, assisting in delegating and starting to take on leadership role.
- Continuing to maintain relationships with clients in providing accurate advice and communicating effectively.
- Dealing with pre-apps and manage planning applications through the development process.
- Communicating and negotiating with clients, stakeholders and local regularly.
- Business development and working up your own client base, or bringing your own.
- Attending meetings for Planning Committee, Consultations and similar events in representation of both the Company and clients through the planning process.
- Mentoring and helping to manage junior team members.
- Have at least 8 years within planning – ideally in consultancy
- Strong development management skillset and expertise
- Be MRTPI or equivalent
- Be a strong communicator with excellent written work
