A leading Tier 1 main contractor is seeking a Senior Construction Manager to join their team on a major, multi-phase healthcare redevelopment in the Liverpool area. The project involves a combination of new-build facilities and refurbishment works within a live, fully operational environment. This role suits an experienced construction professional who can lead site operations, maintain high safety standards and drive successful delivery across complex phases.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead and manage day-to-day site operations across new-build and refurbishment elements
- Coordinate subcontractors and ensure smooth sequencing of works
- Oversee health and safety and ensure full compliance with legislation and company standards
- Monitor progress against the construction programme and support problem-solving where required
- Work closely with stakeholders and end users to minimise disruption within a live environment
- Ensure quality standards are consistently achieved and maintained
- Manage logistics, site planning and delivery of multiple trade packages
- Support the wider delivery team, promoting collaboration and best practice
Ideal Background
- Experience delivering medium to large construction projects for a main contractor
