We’re working with a growing and well-regarded contractor in the North East who is looking to appoint an experienced Contracts Manager to oversee a portfolio of groundwork and civil engineering projects across the UK. This is a fantastic opportunity for an established Contracts Manager or a Senior Project Manager ready to step up into a more strategic, commercially focused role.
The Role
- Take ownership of multiple projects from award through to completion, ensuring delivery is efficient, compliant, and commercially successful.
- Manage contracts in line with agreed terms and conditions.
- Oversee project delivery to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
- Lead and coordinate clients, site managers, and project teams.
- Manage projects within agreed budget parameters.
- Develop and maintain project programmes and timelines.
- Ensure high standards of compliance, safety, and quality across all sites.
- Oversee projects delivered nationwide, with travel as required.
About You
- Proven experience within groundworks or civil engineering projects.
- Currently operating as a Contracts Manager, or a Senior Project Manager ready for progression.
- Strong commercial awareness and budget management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and drive project performance.
- Comfortable managing projects across multiple UK locations.
