A leading Managing Agent is seeking a forward-thinking Building Manager to take the helm of a brand-new, high-profile development due to reach post-completion in early 2026. This impressive scheme spans over 200,000 sq. ft. and comprises a blend of premium commercial office space and ground-floor retail units, creating a vibrant, modern destination in one of London's most desirable locations. This is a unique opportunity to step into a role from the very beginning of the building's lifecycle—shaping operational standards, embedding customer service excellence, and setting the tone for a best-in-class occupier experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead on the operational mobilisation of the building in the run-up to completion, working closely with the client, contractors, and service partners.
- Oversee day-to-day building management once operational, ensuring a safe, compliant, and high-quality environment.
- Manage both soft and hard FM services, ensuring contracts deliver value and performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with occupiers and retailers, acting as their main point of contact for all building-related matters.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety across the asset.
- Support ESG initiatives, sustainability goals, and the integration of smart building technologies.
- Prepare and monitor service charge budgets in partnership with the Property Manager.
- Lead on emergency planning, incident management, and regulatory compliance.

- Experienced in managing commercial office buildings—mixed-use exposure is advantageous.
