An opportunity has arisen with a major privately owned residential developer and regeneration business for a Bid Manager to join its growing Land & Partnerships team. The business is increasingly focused on larger-scale regeneration opportunities, public/private partnerships and strategic land acquisitions across London and the South East. As a result, they are looking for someone to take ownership of complex bids, tenders and partnership submissions across a range of high-profile opportunities. This is not a construction bid management role. Instead, the position sits at the front-end of the development lifecycle, supporting the acquisition, structuring and progression of major development and regeneration opportunities.

Working closely with senior land and development professionals, the successful candidate will play a key role coordinating and managing competitive submissions across both public and private sector opportunities.

Responsibilities
  • Managing land bids and tender submissions
  • Coordinating multidisciplinary internal and external consultant teams
  • Preparing high-quality written submissions and presentations
  • Managing procurement and partnership submission processes
  • Supporting strategic regeneration and JV opportunities
  • Assisting with commercial analysis and opportunity evaluation
  • Managing submission programmes, governance and deadlines
  • Building relationships with local authorities, agents and development partners

The ideal candidate could come from a developer, housing association, regeneration consultancy or strategic land environment and will possess strong organisational and written skills alongside commercial awareness. This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly entrepreneurial and design-led developer with a significant long-term pipeline and increasing focus on major partnerships and regeneration opportunities.
