Cobalt have been mandated on the search for an Asset Manager, for a market-leading BTR business. As a UK-wide investor, developer, and asset management firm, our client already has a large operational portfolio across numerous locations, and has a secured pipeline for new properties across multiple UK cities. Our client is backed by a PE fund / family office and has partnered with large independent investment management companies on its existing portfolios.
The role:
- Manage day-to-day asset operations and development portfolios.
- Analyse financial and operational performance vs. business plans, tracking key metrics and variances.
- Recommend and implement strategies to optimise IRR, NOI, and asset valuation through cost-saving and revenue-enhancing initiatives.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including debt providers and valuers, to ensure financing alignment and accurate asset appraisals.
- Prepare internal and external reports.
- Analyse key financial and operational metrics, providing insights to inform decision-making.
- Deliver management commentary for investors, explaining performance, variances, and strategic actions.
