The Opportunity
Cobalt is working with a housing developer operating across the North West of England who are looking to appoint a bright, enthusiastic Graduate. Working closely with the Land Director, you will support the delivery of affordable housing schemes from early-stage land appraisal through to contract and delivery. This is a highly varied, hands-on role, offering exceptional exposure to all aspects of residential development. It would suit someone curious, commercially minded and genuinely interested in how development works in practice. A property or land-related degree is not required. What matters most is attitude, intellect, and a desire to learn.
The Role
- Assisting with the identification and appraisal of potential development opportunities
- Carrying out market research and basic feasibility studies
- Maintaining land and opportunity trackers
- Gaining exposure to contracts, legal agreements and development structures
- Preparing reports and briefing notes
- Learning how affordable housing schemes are structured, funded and delivered
